Cost tracking
per work order and per vehicle

Fleetack tracks every service job across your entire fleet in a single maintenance log. Work orders carry priority levels, assigned technicians, cost records, and odometer readings at service. When maintenance is due — by mileage or calendar interval — Fleetack flags the vehicle before it becomes a problem. Jobs close with notes and actual costs recorded.

Module capabilities

Capabilities included in this module of the Fleetack platform.

01

Work order creation and assignment

Create a work order for any vehicle with description, priority, assigned technician, and estimated completion. Work orders visible to all relevant staff.

02

Priority levels — low to urgent

Set priority levels per work order: low, medium, high, or urgent. High and urgent jobs surface automatically in the fleet status view.

03

Odometer-based service triggers

Set a maintenance trigger at a specific odometer interval — oil changes at every 5,000 miles, for example. Fleetack flags when a vehicle is due based on current odometer readings from GPS.

04

Calendar-based service scheduling

For time-based maintenance — annual inspections, quarterly checks — set a calendar trigger. Fleetack flags when the date approaches.

05

Cost and parts tracking

Log parts used and labor costs on each work order. Per-vehicle and fleet-wide cost reports show what maintenance is actually costing.

06

Technician assignment

Assign specific technicians or service shops to each work order. Track who did what work and when.

07

Work order status workflow

Work orders move through statuses: scheduled, in progress, and completed. Each transition is logged with notes and timestamps.

08

Full maintenance history per vehicle

Every work order ever created for a vehicle is in its profile. Useful for resale, insurance, and compliance documentation.
