Privacy Policy

Fleetack collects information necessary to operate a fleet management platform. This includes account information (name, email, organization), vehicle and device data (GPS coordinates, device identifiers), employee records entered by your organization (as required for compliance and payroll features), student information entered by your organization (name, route assignment, family contacts), and usage data such as login timestamps and feature activity.

We do not collect information beyond what is needed to deliver the platform's functionality.

Information is used solely to operate and improve the Fleetack platform. This includes providing GPS tracking, dispatch, compliance, payroll, and communication features; sending automated notifications to drivers, staff, and parents as configured; providing customer support; and improving platform performance and reliability.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. Student data is never used for any purpose outside of providing the services your organization has configured.

Fleetack treats student data as governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Student personally identifiable information is accessible only to authorized users within your organization. It is not shared with third parties except as required to deliver services you have configured (e.g., sending an SMS to a parent contact). We act as a service provider to the educational agency and process student data only according to your instructions.

We do not share your data with third parties except in the following limited cases: service providers who assist in operating the platform (cloud infrastructure, SMS providers) under strict data processing agreements; when required by law or valid legal process; in connection with a business transfer, in which case you would be notified.

All third-party service providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period thereafter to allow for data export and account recovery requests. GPS location history and camera recordings are retained according to the retention settings configured for your account. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access is controlled by role-based permissions. Each organization's data is isolated at the database level. See our Security page for more detail.
